describe
Carbon composite refractory castable is a multiphase composite refractory material made from two or more refractory oxides with different properties, carbon materials, and non oxide materials as raw materials, using carbon containing organic compounds as binders.
The main oxides that make up this material are MgO, Al2O3, ZrO2, and MgAl2O4; Carbon is mainly natural graphite; Non oxides refer to metals such as Al, Si, Mg, alloys of AlSi and AlMg, as well as carbides such as SiC and B4C.
A carbon composite refractory castable composed of oxides, carbon, non oxides, and binders is formed by adding resin or asphalt to these raw materials.
Ladle: slag line - MgO-C brick, lining - Al2O3-MgO-C brick
Three major components of continuous casting: plug rod - Al2O3-C material, long nozzle - Al2O3-C material, immersion nozzle - Al2O3-C material, sliding plate - Al2O3-ZrO2-C material
